Inspired from a desk lamp designed by Mario Botta, the lamp is made up of thin flat folding planes that allow the lamp shade to be positioned high and low. The different positions of the lamp meet ambient needs and task related needs. The lamp shade design is reminiscent of a dentist lamp with the handle to alter the angle of light as needed.
